Rayna of Modifyier and I had a nice chat today about tunes, San Francisco and a TBA collaboration (if you read her blog, you can probably guess what it is) this afternoon while both of us were kind of working. She also e-introduced me to Drei Farben House and Flavius E, excellent musicians and soon to be bearers of her artwork. I’ve included one of each of their tracks and urge you to dig into both of them. Actually, you can get a bunch of Drei Farben House’s singles and remixes for free on the Corpid Label site. Did you know, that Drei Farben House relates to the name of a big brothel in south-germany called Drei Farben Haus?

I think these guys have a lot of humor…or big balls.
It’s in Stuttgart, Germany. It’s actually three separate buildings, each painted a different color.
Each building has three floors & two have basements as well. Each floor has several rooms (it’s been fifty
years since I was there so I can’t remember exactly how many).
The girls rent the rooms & stand in the doorway as the men walk by. When they want to quit for the day they just close their door.
The minimum price they were allowed to charge when I was there was 20 DM ($4.80). I would suspect that has gone up a bit since then.
Of course the place was off-limits so that just made it more interesting.
