After evaluating nearly 40 mixes, LWE’s judging panel has made its selections. Our congratulations go out to Maria Nannou, the winner of our sixth annual podcast mix competition. Her entry channels the darker energies in techno to create a standout mix, one that makes perfect sense of Dopplereffekt, Omar-S, Ike Yard, and Autechre. Nannou shared this about herself:

“I left my tropical Greek paradise 10 years ago to move to a gloomy country, also known as the UK. In London I found myself in another kind of paradise… a music one! I’ve done lots of blogging, music business studies, and also found myself working as a music journalist for a while. I’m not a self-proclaimed DJ or curator. I simply enjoy mixing and recently I dipped my toe into making music as well. Support the artists, your local scene and your talented friends!”
