Ever the generous guy, Santiago Salazar is giving away another hot tune which serves as this week’s download. Made available as part of the Soul Aid project to benefit Japan, “Technik” is the kind of track S2 could’ve easily committed to vinyl if he had wanted. Although imbued with his characteristic, bouncing bass, “Technik” is a reflective affair, evenly coated with foggy pads parted by bittersweet synth leads. Uniquely suited for the somber cause to which it’s dedicated, “Technik” is something you’ll want to own even if you’re somewhat wary of buying something to provide humanitarian support.
